Shoutcast DSP

SHOUTcast is a multiplatform freeware audio streaming technology, developed by Nullsoft. SHOUTcast uses MP3 or AAC encoding of audio content and HTTP (though multicast can be used) as the transport protocol to broadcast web radio, also known as Internet radio. Clients are available for Windows, FreeBSD, GNU/Linux, Mac OS X and Solaris.

Ices

Ices is a command line mp3 broadcasting source client that plays through a playlist of mp3 files either in random or ordered. Ices comes in two flavors, the 0.x flavor which supports sending an MP3 stream to an icecast server, and the 2.x flavor which supports sending an Ogg Vorbis stream to an icecast server.
